Gabe Taylor was born in Lincoln, Nebraska. He moved to Conyers, Georgia with his family in 1981 and he graduated from high school in 1993.
In 1996 Gabe began working non-union in the electrical construction field. He joined the IBEW, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, in 2002 – becoming one of the over 750,000 members. A few years later he completed his apprenticeship and became a journeyman in 2006. Four years later Gabe acquired his State of Georgia non-restricted electrical license. Soon after he left the union.
Gabe worked several years for Charles Hollis, who told him about Seth Chandlee. Gabe then interviewed with Chandlee Electric and was hired as the Master Electrician and Crew Leader for the team.
Gabe has two awesome children, a daughter age 18 and a son age 6. He enjoys reading about history and military history, he also likes watching movies and Nebraska Cornhusker football along withtarget shooting and cooking. But most of all he enjoys spending as much time as he can with his children. Gabe lives in Covington.
